About the "Nihama Summer Fireworks Festival"
The 68th Niihama Summer Fireworks Festival, an annual summer event in Niihama City, will be held.
This year, approximately 8,000 fireworks will light up the night sky over the city.
■Date and time: Friday, July 25, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
(*The launch time has been changed from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
(If postponed due to rain, the event will be postponed to Monday, July 28th, Tuesday, July 29th, Wednesday, July 30th.)
Location: Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, Kokuryo River riverbed, north side of Hiragata Bridge
■Number of balls: Approximately 8,000
■Traffic restrictions: On the day of the fireworks display, roads around the venue will be closed to vehicles.
■ Request
◎To ensure safe viewing of the fireworks, please be sure to follow the instructions and guidance of security guards at the venue and in the surrounding areas.

◎Parking Every year, on-street parking causes inconvenience to our neighbors.
Please be sure to use the designated parking lot.
◎Danger Zone The fireworks display site is extremely dangerous. If anyone enters the danger zone, the display will be stopped, so please do not enter the danger zone under any circumstances.
◎We are promoting a zero waste campaign. The day after the event, there will be trash such as empty cans scattered around the venue. Due to concerns about children's social education and hygiene, we ask that you throw it away in the trash cans located at various locations or take it home. On the day of the event, trash bags will be distributed at the headquarters, so please feel free to ask for help.
◎Others
Please note that on the day of the fireworks display, vehicles will be prohibited from passing through the fireworks launch area between Hiragata Bridge and Shikishima Bridge on the west side of the Kokuryo River riverbed due to the danger of accumulated explosives.
○Please do not use stones from the Kuniryo River as weights for the sheets when viewing the exhibits.
* To ensure the safety of spectators and the smooth running of the fireworks display, please refrain from using radio-controlled flying objects, such as drones, within the venue during the fireworks display.
*From 6:30am (scheduled) the morning after the fireworks display, with the help of many volunteers, we will be cleaning up the area around the venue, so we ask for your cooperation.
○Please refrain from illegally parking on the streets or in any other nuisance parking area around the venue, as this will cause considerable inconvenience to local residents.
